We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Library Services Co-Ordinator to join our Operations team in Didcot. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our Library Technical Services (LTS) and Warehouse teams, ensuring the successful implementation of library value-added services for customers.

As the central point of coordination between customers and internal teams, you'll manage processes, support projects, troubleshoot issues, and help deliver an outstanding customer experience. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, have excellent attention to detail, and thrive on solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate the implementation and ongoing management of library value-added services for customers.
  • Provide administrative support to the Library Technical Services team, including maintaining CRM records, customer accounts, project documentation, and status trackers.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers during onboarding, providing regular updates and coordinating implementation activities.
  • Manage project trackers to ensure progress is visible across teams and deadlines are met.
  • Handle email communications between departments, ensuring key updates and priorities are shared effectively.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse, Technical and Cataloguing teams to identify, resolve and prevent customer issues.
  • Troubleshoot print and digital acquisition queries, cataloguing records, and book processing requirements.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their workflows and technical requirements, identifying solutions where system limitations exist.
  • Support the maintenance and development of Library Technical Service specifications and workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and undertake additional projects to support operational objectives.

About You

You'll be an organised, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You enjoy working collaboratively, can manage multiple priorities, and are comfortable learning new systems and processes.

You'll also bring:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience using CRM and order management systems.
  • A proactive approach, taking ownership of tasks and seeking opportunities to improve processes.
  • The ability to adapt quickly in a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within an academic library, publishing or library services environment.
  • An understanding of library workflows, cataloguing, acquisitions or book processing.
