What You'll Do

Responsibilities:
• Create and generate activity in direct selling situations through telephone, email, and virtual meetings in partnership with your outside sales representative
• Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at academic, medical, and corporate institutions.
• Communication with existing clients, and providing them with daily support, handling annual renewals of subscriptions.
• Prospects research, e-mail, and phone communication with potential clients
• Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales of EBSCO products
• Meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets, and revenue goals, and managing a pipeline of sales opportunities from identification through to close.
• Keeping accurate and current records, and meeting activity metrics of customer interactions and sales activities using EBSCO's sales management tools and systems.

About You

• University degree
• Relevant experience in sales
• Knowledge and experience in library and information science is an advantage
• User proficiency in MS Office (Email communication, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a part of the team
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and influencing skills; ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to multitask, solution sell, and develop long-term account planning and strategy
• Bring sales experience, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills to the team
• Residing in Prague

 

Language skills:
• Native Czech or Slovak language speaker with active knowledge of written and spoken English - official company language
• Knowledge of Slovenian or Croatian is an advantage
